Post Barracouta Sails
Can the LBWS guys share any information about these sails. Sizes, specs, etc. I'd be interested in whether they can be shipped to Auk NZ. I looked at their website but couldn't find any info.
Lastly, how do you think they would go on a Kona?

Gday Rod, Spoke to Neil @ Barracouta yesterday whilst picking up a new 9.5, he said his website is getting updated now with pics and this info:

Quote:
BARRACOUTA SAILS 2009 RACEBOARD SAILS

LUFF BOOM $
10.5 5.6 2.55 1475.00
9.5 5.45 2.5 1400.00
8.5 5.25 2.45 1325.00
7.5 5.1 2.3 1260.00

The sails have been designed with weight in mind, with the use of lightweight Kevlars in the body of the sail and stiff Kevlar laminates in the leech area. The sails are supplied with two sets of battens. A soft set for light airs and a stiff set for windier conditions. With 4 cambers in the sail, this will give pumping ability and upwind performance, while keeping the draft stable.

Barracouta Sails custom makes these sails bearing in mind the sailors weight, board type, mast and boom. Colours can be custom ordered.

Barracouta Sails started building sailboard sails in 1980 with the first Australian titles won in 1988 and many races won since then.
