Post centreboard gasket glue/solvent
Hi folks,

I was redirected here from the Boards UK forums. I have an F2 Phoenix 320 (I know, not necessarily a long board by some definitions ;-) I think it is about year 2000. The gasket is starting to come away and I am looking for some recommendations as to what glue to use, and what solvent I might use to strip off the old glue.

Any help appreciated. I'm in the UK.

Nice site, BTW.

thanks,
Michael

I use superglue to stick the gaskets back on. As for removing the old glue, it depends what it is.
You could sand it back if epoxy based or try some acetone or similar if rubber based.

In fact i just got 4 tubes last night to stick back the gasket on my Warp-X

Others may have alternative suggestions.
