Windsurf Round Hayling Open race was reinstated on good friday 2009 after a few years absence. It will be held again this coming good friday 2nd April 2010 and details should be available on the HISC web site soon at www.hisc.co.uk.
Approx 90 entries last year in quite challenging condition ie. light winds and strong tides and lots of rain.
47 sailors got all the way round taking approx from 2.5 to 4 hrs.
Nearly all finishers were on race boards, long boards. Some sailors came over from Europe to take part.
It would be good to see even more entries this year as all abilities are welcome. There were three race lengths last year so something for all.

They are hoping for up to 150 entries so come on those who can, either longboard or formula board, good facilities for the family while you race.
