I've just recently purchased a mistral longboard off ebay but haven't picked it up yet, and I'm not sure what it is. The seller knew nothing about windsurfing and couldn't find any name on it but said that it is 360cm long and weighs 12kg and has vol 315L. It has triple concaves, two upwind footstrap positions, and double back footstraps (side by side). I'd be very interested to know what it is. I've tried to post a picture below.

I don't think it could be a mistral malibu, because its longer, (3.6m compared to 3.3m) and has upwind footstraps. Also looks like it has a narrower tail.

I think that your seller gave you wrong mensurations.

The volume cannot be 315 l, and the board could be longer than 360 cm. It looks like an IMCO.
If he is wrong on the volume, he can be wrong on the length.

I would bet on a Mistral Equipe LCS Carbon Race.
Once I have seen a board looking like this one. "RACE" was written in big letters on the right side and the owner told me that it weights 12 kg.

Thanks Hemo, I think you're right, it looks exactly like that picture; the seller didn't know much about it and probably got mixed up with the measurements. I'll know for sure when I pick it up, which will probably only be sometime in May.

This board looks almost exactly like a 1991 LCS Carbon Equipe 1 that I have. I write 'almost'
because mine has 'RACE' written on the sides and 'EQUIPE' written lengthwise on the bow behind the 'M'. It is 372 cm long and weighs 13.6 kg without fins and centreboard (14.5 with).

Yes you're right, its a mistral equipe LCS I think 1990. It says RACE on the side and it gives the volume as 235L. I think this is the equipe that has the same shape as the mistral one design, just built a bit lighter, 13.5kg compared to 15kg.

This is a Mistral Equipe 1989 it is the same as a Mistral One Design but carbon ( LCS Light Carbon System ) If you look at the deck of the board under the boom head it is written Equipe.
